Dalia Navickas Obituary

Dalia Navickas, 83, of Piscataway, passed away on July 19, 2022.

Dalia was born in Lithuania to Genovaite Paleviciute-Slepakovas and Vaclovas Slepakovas on April 10, 1939.  She was married to Charles K. Navickas on March 29, 1959.   She worked as a bookkeeper for J H Reid Construction for over 20 years.

Dalia had a great love for her family and friends.  She loved to make people laugh and would return their laughter with a beautiful smile.  She loved cooking her favorite Lithuanian foods. As a woman devoted to her faith, Dalia was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway.  She loved to dance with her husband and listen to music on her record player.  She was an avid reader and was often seen at the library. She enjoyed the Lithuanian events she attended with her husband and friends.   At home, Dalia enjoyed doing puzzles and playing her slot games on her iPad.  She was a fan of the NY Yankees and Derek Jeter.

Dalia was a true animal lover and enjoyed feeding the animals in her backyard.  She adored her adoptive kitten Molly and would treat her to toys and sleeping towers.

Dalia is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Navickas and beloved son Edward Navickas

Dalia is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Lily Stein of Piscataway.  She is also survived by her loving sisters and their families in California, and her nieces and nephews in Texas and New Jersey.  She will be sadly missed and memories of her will be cherished by all her family, neighbors, and friends who have know her throughout the years.
