Cynthia J. Lancaster

Cynthia Jean Lancaster, died Monday, January 22, 2024. At home in Green Brook, N.J. She was 75 years old.

Cynthia was born in Green Brook, N.J. She lived on Tenerife, Canary Island, Spain for 15 years before moving back to Green Brook. She worked as a gardener for the Somerset County Parks Commission, Franklin.

She earned her Bachelors degree in hotel management from the Universidad de La Laguna.

She was a member of the American Herb Society, a chess club in Spain and a geo chaser.

Cynthia is predeceased by her parents, Albert Louis and Florence M. (DeHart) Lancaster. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Brian J. Dege.

Services are private under the direction of the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Avenue, Dunellen, New Jersey 08812.
