Christopher Columbus Turner III, 72, of Dunellen, NJ, passed away suddenly on July 1st, 2021 in his home.
Christopher was born on February 26, 1949 to Christopher and Nancy Turner in Manchester, KY. After graduating from Rahway High School in 1967, he went on to study business at William and Mary and graduated in 1971. He continued on to study medicine at Ross University. He taught science for 18 years at St. Patricks High School in Elizabeth, NJ.
In 1965, he met Marie, and they wed in 1975, going on to have 2 children, Christopher and David.
After retiring in 2011, Chris spent his time playing with his grandchildren, collecting knives, and playing duplicate bridge.
Chris was predeceased by his parents Nancy and Christopher and his brother James. He is survived by his wife Marie, his sister Vicki Jenkins and husband Gary his brother Jefferey and his wife - his son Chistopher, his son David and daughter-in-law Lina, his sister in law Jenny, his grandchildren Mariana, Max, and Mateo, his niece Heather and nephew Adam, his grand nieces Destiny and Jordan.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, July 7 from 11:00AM-1:00PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. All services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations are asked in Chris' name to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital at www.Stjude.org
