Christopher Allen Warger was born in Plainfield, NJ on July 25, 1966 to Beverly Warger (nee Hamilton) and Robert Warger, Sr. Chris, who was affectionately known by family and friends as Bubba, passed away peacefully on 3/30/26 surrounded by family & friends. Chris grew up in Piscataway and Dunellen. He attended McAuley Hall in Watchung and graduated from high school there. He loved attending all the dances with his long time friends Johnny & Ruthie. After graduating Chris worked for many years as an assembler at ARC of Somerset. He was very proud of the job he did, packing pencils into their boxes and he loved making money. Chris was an avid music lover. He enjoyed playing his records on his record player. He listened to everything from the Eagles to the Blues Brothers, Grease, Blake Shelton and Bruno Mars. Chris was also a huge car enthusiast. He especially loved Mustangs & Corvettes. He loved all of his brother Bobby’s cars and trucks and his nephew Billy’s too. He loved riding bicycles with his nephew Billy and would take off down the road so fast sometimes it was hard to catch him. He really enjoyed the summer months where he swam in the pool with Billy and his nieces Ashley & Rosa. Every year his sister Susan would take him to the shore for a week. He absolutely loved the raw bars down the shore. Chris was a huge fan of both NASCAR and NHRA with Dale Earnhardt and John Force being his favorites. He enjoyed watching the drag races at Raceway Park and on tv. Chris also loved the WWF and attended Wrestlemania where he got to see his two favorite wrestlers Stone Cold Steve Austin & The Rock. Chris had a blast sleeping over his niece & nephew’s house and was always the life of the party. He made so many friends. Chris loved a good chili cheese dog and a Diet Coke from the Dunellen Texas Weiner. They were his all time favorite. After his sister Susan passed, he moved in with Bill & Gina for three years before finally getting his own bachelor’s pad at Mt. Bethel Village and in no time became “the Mayor of Mt. Bethel”. The staff and residents immediately fell in love with him. Chris had a joy for life that was infectious and a smile that could light up the night.
Chris is predeceased by his mother Beverly and father Robert, Sr, his beloved brother Robert Warger, Jr. and his beloved sister Susan Warger Lucas. Chris is survived by his sister in law Carmela Warger, nieces Ashley & Rosa, his nephew William Andrew and wife Gina, great niece and nephew Gianna & Billy, wife Bree and great-great niece Vianna and many other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Christopher’s name to Mt. Bethel Village at 130 Mount Bethel Road, Warren, NJ 07059. A celebration of Christopher’s life will be planned at a later date. Fly free and dance your socks off Bubba. You will be greatly missed.
