Christine F. (Cybulski) Petroski

Christine (Tina) Petroski, of Dunellen, New Jersey passed away peacefully on May 15, 2022 at the age of 74.

Christine was born on October 11, 1947 in the Bronx, NY to the late Valentine and Marie Cybulski. Christine was predeceased by her husband, Frank Petroski and her brother Frank Cybulski.

She is survived by her brother, Valentine Cybulski and her sisters, Elaine Avvocato, Patricia Barrett and her husband, John, Mary Ann Cybulski and sister-in-law, Joan Stark. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews that she loved very much.

Tina attended St. Adalabert’s Grammar School and graduated from Cathedral High School. She went on to obtain an Associates Degree from the Katherine Gibbs School of Business and worked in Human Resources for many years until she retired.

After retirement, she traveled and enjoyed going on trips with the Senior Centers in Dunellen and Middlesex County. Tina’s favorite hobbies were shopping, going to the movies and out to eat. She loved spending the summer months at the pool and walking the boardwalk at Point Pleasant.

Christine was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and active in the Holy Rosary Society. She was a member of the choir at Our Lady of Fatima Church. She loved her job as crossing guard for the Dunellen School District. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, May 19 from 4:00-7:00pm  at the Sheenan Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 20 at 10:00am at St. Mary of Czestochowa Catholic Church, 201 Vosseller Ave in Bound Brook. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum in Piscataway.
