Charles was born to Luella and Charles Henry Davison Sr. in Neptune NJ.   He had 2 older sisters, Elsie (deceased) and Charlotte. He married the love of his life, Janice Brodack on September 2, 1972 and they welcomed twin daughters, Jennifer and Laura in 1976.  

Charles was a carpenter and home inspector. He could build or fix almost anything. He was strong and a superhero to his little girls and their friends. He spent many nights outside, after a long day of working several jobs, fixing bicycles, or laughing with his friends and loved ones.  
 

In 1998 Charles and Janice realized their lifelong dream of having a cottage at the Jersey Shore.  He spent many weekends and vacations at the shore house with his beloved family. A few years later in 2001 a new family member was added when Laura married her husband, Fernando, and then another in 2004 when Jenn married Steve to whom they are both still happily married. He really knew how to be the best Pop Pop in the world.  He absolutely adored his grandchildren Kathryn, Brandon, and Amanda, and was always telling everyone about them.  He spent many hours
driving his youngest granddaughter, Amanda, to doctor Appointments, including in different states, and was a constant source of strength and support for her and the family during her many operations.
 

Charles would give you the shirt off his back and there were several times he literally did.  He would drop everything to help anyone if they needed it.  He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
