Carol Kennedy Obituary

On September 1, 2022 Carol S. Kennedy (nee Virga) passed away surrounded by her family at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick at the age of 65.

Carol was born on September 12, 1956 to Joseph and Catherine (Yaworski) Virga in Torrance, California. She worked as a hairdresser until her retirement.

Carol loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a passion and talent for cooking and no one would leave her kitchen table hungry. She loved to spend time at the beach and watching her beloved NY Yankees. Carol had an incredible sense of humor and loved her family with all her heart.

Carol is predeceased by her parents and brother, Joseph Virga, Jr.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Kevin and sons, Brian and Peter. She leaves behind her three adored grandchildren Gwendolyn Skye Kady, Logan Andrew Kady, and Evan Peter Kady. Carol is also survived by her brother Jack Virga, sisters, Linda Caruso, Joann Virga and Robin Bonura.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Avenue, Dunellen, NJ from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial to be held at Franklin Memorial Park on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in North Brunswick, NJ.
