Brian V. Murphy

Brian Vincent Murphy, passed away peacefully at his home on August 9, 2023. He was born in Somerville, New Jersey on April 26, 1959 and resided in Dunellen for many years.

He was the most loving grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. His sense of humor was off the wall and he was an endless source of hysterical laughter and head shaking for everyone that knew and loved him. Brian loved to perform and went into each and every performance fully committed with costumes and all! His greatest joy was making people laugh and he did that often.

Brian was also fiercely competitive and loved to beat his family and friends in everything from cards to bowling, cornhole and Dominos.

Brian is predeceased by his parents, Michael Murphy and Madeline (nee Cuccarese) Murphy.

He is survived by his brother, Michael Murphy, his sisters, Sharon Campbell and Coleen Murphy, his brother-in-law Wayne Campbell, step-children Josie Stocker and Nick Bieniek and son-in-law Greg Stocker. He is also survived by his grandchildren Grace and Jack Stocker, nieces and nephews Tracey, Timmy, Brett, Ryan, Krista, Jesse, Chyenne, Wyatt, Madeline and Brooke. As well as many friends who will all miss him dearly.

Family and friends are invited to the Sheenan Funeral Home on Saturday, August 19th from 10 to 1 p.m. for a memorial visitation.
