Arlene Jane Gary

Arlene Jane Gary, died on Monday, September 9, 2024. At Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Somerset, N.J. She was 89 years old.

Arlene was born in Plainfield, N.J. She settled in Middlesex. She was an accountant at the Middlesex Board of Education for several years before her retirement. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Virgin RC Church, Middlesex and she was a member of the Traveling Seniors.

Arlene is predeceased by her husband, Henry Nelson Gary, parents, Louis E. and Dorothy M. (Hanna) Funk.  She is survived by her children Kevin Gary and his wife Donna of Gulfport, Miss.; Kathleen Jane Janelli and her husband Scott of Bridgewater; Brian Gary of Milford; Nancy Lynn Gary of Lebanon; her sister, Janet Baranoski of Monroe; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation is on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave. Dunellen, N.J. 08812. Funeral services are on Monday, September 16, 2024, 10:00AM at Sheenan Funeral Home. 11:00AM Mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin RC Church, Middlesex, N.J. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
