Antonino "Nino" Bluni, 74, passed away peacefully with his wife beside him on Friday, May 30, 2025 in his home in Dunellen after a long fought battle with cancer.
Born November 20, 1950 in Sicily, Nino lived an adventurous life traveling the world as a Merchant Marine before settling in the United States. Not only a man with a million stories, he was a man who could fix anything, handy and able to complete all phases on construction. From the gutters, to the car breaks, a hole in the wall or a malfunctioning laptop, to even building some of the furniturein his house, he was a man with admirable knowledge and craftsmanship.
Nino will mostly be remembered for his lighthearted spirit and ability to make those around him laugh.
He is survived by his wife Ninfa Cecilia, his children Luigi, Concetta, Kevin, and Kaitlyn, his brothers Angelo and Giuseppe, sisters Melina and Concetta, grandchildren Lily, Anthony, Angelina, Lyla, and Thomas, great grandchild Selena Rose and his cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter Rosie and sister Francesca.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life and send him off on Monday, June 9 at Sheenan Funeral home in Dunellen, NJ from 10am-1pm followed by his funeral at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
