Anna Josephine Crann (nee Manna) died Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in Toms River, NJ. Born on November 6, 1929 in Orange, NJ to Frank A. and Elizabeth Manna, Anna was a graduate of Orange High School. She was an executive secretary at Prudential Insurance in Newark for many years. She met her husband Leonard Paul, who lived on the same block in Orange, and they married in 1956. Together they had six children and raised them in Short Hills, NJ. They retired to Toms River 33 years ago.
Anna prayed the rosary daily for all of her siblings, children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. She is survived by her six children: Mary Eileen Crann, John Paul Crann, Elizabeth Claire Crann, Annette Terese Tijerino (Aaron), Catherine Lucia Crann, and Leonard Joseph Crann (Anne Marie); seven grandchildren, Anjelica Kasimier (Robert), Anna Tijerino, Colleen Healy (Thomas), Austin Crann, Owen Crann, Hope Crann, Reagan Crann; one great grandchild, Noah Healy; her sisters, Antoinette, Elizabeth, Alba, and a brother, Anthony. Many adoring nieces and nephews survive her, as well. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Frank J. Manna.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 10:00am at Saint John’s Roman Catholic Church, 94 Ridge St., Orange, NJ 07050. For further arrangements and to leave condolences, please visit https://www.sheenanfh.com/.
