Angelo Caggiano, 95 of New Market passed away peacefully at Somerset Woods on January 6, 2022.
Angelo was born in Springfield, New Jersey to Peter and Mary (nee Spinelli) Caggiano on October 5, 1926.
He served on the USS Birmingham during his time with the US Navy in World War II and after his service, worked as an assembler for Ford Motor Company. After retiring from Ford, Angelo was a Barber for 15 years.
Angelo loved music and played the accordion. He was known for his ability to put a smile on someone’s face. He had a great love for his family. Angelo loved to dance. Angelo travelled to many countries all over the world. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
Angelo is predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters. He is survived by many nieces and nephews who all loved and will miss him.
Friends and family may visit the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Avenue, Dunellen, NJ on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 9 to 10 a.m. with services at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield, NJ.
