Amelia Hazlewood, 91, daughter of the late Loretta and Frank Pascale, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2022.
Amelia is survived by her twin sons, Frank and Michael Veglatte and his wife Diane, grandchildren, Frank, Brian and Vincent and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Frank Pascale, Jr., Lawrence Pascale and wife Rose Marie, sisters Virginia Romanelli and husband Tony, Patricia Mazza and husband, John, sister-in-law Patty Pascale, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Leslie Hazlewood, brother Joseph and sisters, Florence, Francine, Helen and Delores.
Amelia was a lifelong resident of Union County and a graduate of Plainfield High School. She was employed for several years with Mack Motors and H&R Block. She enjoyed dancing, exercising, crossword puzzles, she was an avid NY Yankees fan and loved going to Atlantic City. She will be missed.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, November 3 from 8:30-10:30am at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Avenue in Dunellen. A funeral mass will then be celebrated at 10:30am at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Dunellen with burial to follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield.
