Yessenia Meza, 39, of North Plainfield, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 2, at JFK Hospital in Edison. Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, she is the daughter of Remberto,Sr and Reyna(Martinez) Baires.
Yessenia worked for several years as a shift coordinator for CVS Pharmacy in North Plainfield. She loved to cook, loved to work in her garden. She loved music and art, especially decorating her home in both Mexican and Chinese ornaments. More than anything though, she loved spending time with her beloved family. Yessenia will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents, Yessenia is survived by her loving husband, Richard Meza, Sr. She is also survived by her cherished children; son Tony Cardona, her daughters, Estrella Cardona, Dayanara Meza and her son Richard Meza, Jr. Yessenia is also survived by her adoring brother Remberto Baires, Jr and her beloved sister Xiomara Baires.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 7 from 4:00-7:00 at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 8 at 11:00 AM at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
