Weston J Stewart, 53, passed away at RWJ-Somerset on Wednesday, March 28, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Cocoa Beach, FL., he grew up in Piscataway but then resided in Dunellen. He was the son of late William and Albanita (DeCarvahlo) Stewart.
Weston loved fiercely. He loved life and all those in it, but he loved one person more than all others; The Love of His Life, Pat Johnson, whom he shared his life with for 21 years. Weston took on the role of father to Pat’s 3 girls, Chelsea, Alyssa, and Carly, whom were the pride and joy of his life. Weston enjoyed many things in life, one of his favorites was being a grandfather to Jordyn and Camila, and an Uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Weston loved to be near the water, whether it was going fishing, or going to the beach, he was there. He enjoyed tinkering with his dirt bike, bandanas, and Rock-N-Roll, and especially watching Football on Sunday’s. He was a unique soul who left this world too soon, but certainly left his mark. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Weston is survived by his Wife, Patricia Johnson, daughters, Chelsea, Alyssa, and Carly Johnson. His sons-in-law Miguel Gomez and Paul Garth and his daughter in law, Andrea Morehead as well as his grandchildren Jordyn and Camila. He is also survived by his step-mother Lynn Stewart and his brothers and sisters, Suzette Noden and husband Geoffrey, Bill Stewart and wife Joanna, Sandra Stewart-Davis and husband Charles, Scarlette Rose and husband Keith, Walter Stewart and fiancé Mary, and Wade Stewart. His nieces and nephews, Bill, George, Mikayla, Renee, Kendall, Mallory, Klay, Melanie, and Dakota.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 31, from 6:00-8:00pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen, Avenue in Dunellen. A funeral service will follow at 8:00pm. Cremation will be private.
