Robert W Norton

Robert W Norton, 74 of Bound Brook, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 8, 2017 with his loving family by his side. Born in Trenton, he was the son of the late Whitney and June (Rush) Norton.

Robert served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a member for 45 years of American Legion Post 261 of Piscataway. He was a Vice President with Jersey Petroleum, both in Middlesex and in Upper Marlboro, MD. Robert was also a volunteer keyboard instructor at the Quailbrook Senior Center in Somerset.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Helen, his son Ronald Norton of Piscataway, his daughter Lori Norton of Seaside, NJ, his stepsons, Robert Marchie, Michael Marchie and Garry Marchie. He is also survived by his brother, James Norton of Piscataway, and his sisters, Denise Eodice and Noriesse Swinsburg as well as by numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 10 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 11 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick, NJ.
