Richard E Wilhelm

Richard E Wilhelm, 66, of Piscataway, passed away peacefully at RWJUH in New Brunswick on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Plainfield, NJ and was the son of the late Fritz and Betty (Elizabeth Giese) Wilhelm. Richard is predeceased by his wife Judith Wilhelm, Betty’s brother Charles and Alice Giese.

Over the years Richard was a valued and respected employee of Giese Electric, Geerlings Greenhouse and Ferraro Fine Italian Foods.  He loved his children, grand children, family and his bird Rocky. He loved animals and was a true servant of God who was always willing to help others and put them before himself.

He is survived by his loving children Samantha Wilhelm of Piscataway NJ, Brian Giese of Mo, Mark Giese of Piscataway and Lisa Paul of Ohio. His 3 beautiful grandchildren Kory, Kylie and Kooper Newhart of Ohio. His 7 brothers Walter Wilhelm of Md, William Wilhelm of Monroe, James Wilhelm of Dunellen, David Giese of Fl, Roger Giese of Va, Donald Giese of Fl and Bruce Giese of Ia.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, December 22 from 2:00-4:00 and from 7:00-9:00pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A funeral service will held on Saturday, December 23 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
