Raymond G. Wilson, 73 of North Plainfield, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at JFK Hospital in Edison. Born in Plainfield, he was the son of the late Harold and Dorothy (Van Fleet) Wilson.
Raymond loved the Jersey Shore; it was where he had some of his happiest times. He loved fixing things and wasn’t happy unless he was tinkering or planting something. He also loved flea marketing with his brother George and his motto was one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
He is survived by his loving wife, Harriet Wilson of North Plainfield, daughters, Selena and Shawn (Wilson) Stiles of Washington, Stacy and Jay (Wilson) Pacillo of Springfield; grandchildren, Julia Stiles, Kevin Stiles, and Jake Pacillo, brother, George Wilson and the late Carol Wilson, and many loving niece and nephews, as well as extended family. He is predeceased by his brother, Donald and Judith (Suza) Wilson and sister, Betty and Nicholas (Wilson) Calvi.
Friends may visit the family on Saturday, December 29th from 2:00-4:00 at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. At the family's request, cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Raymond's name to the Kidney Foundation at www.Kidney.org
