Priscilla passed away suddenly on Tuesday May 16, 2017 at Somerset Woods Care Facility in Somerset. Born Mar. 13, 1940, the daughter of the Late Harold and Josephine Allen, she was proud to have been raised in Brooklyn NY. Surrounded by the love and energy of a large rambunctious close-knit family, Priscilla enjoyed a happy childhood. She attended St. Edmund's Roman Catholic Grammar and High Schools, making lifelong friends in the vibrant neighborhood that was Avenue U in the '50's.
Married to Francis Xavier Galla in 1957, she was blessed to raise three daughters whom she taught to work hard, play hard, and enjoy the gifts life presents along the way. She led by example and continued her treasured family traditions that included incredible Sunday feasts, long lazy days at the beach, bbqs galore and over the top Christmas celebrations.
She went on to live in Staten Island, NY, East Berlin, Pa., and finally Bridgewater NJ bringing her love of gardening, reading and music with her along the way. She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth and husband Philip, Pierrette Farber and Christine and husband Edward. Grandchildren were the light of her life and she was gifted with Michael Perinelli and wife Kacey, Nicholas Perinelli, Joshua, Ian and David Farber; Nicole, Daniel, Joseph and Paige Dennison. Predeceased by her precious first grandchild Vincent Lombardo, he and his wife Becky Lombardo brought the joy of great grandchildren Brandon, Emily, Caitlin, and Chloe to her later years.

Visiting will be Fri. 4-8PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen. There will be a 7:30PM funeral service also at the funeral home on Fri. Graveside services will be at Greenwood Cemetery, 500 25th St., Brooklyn NY on Saturday at 10:30AM.
