Penny Lynn Strauss, 72, of Piscataway, passed away peacefully at Robert Wood Hospital in Somerville on May 24, 2017. Having been born in Plainfield, she then went on to live in Dunellen where she served as the town clerk for a few years. She also was a receptionist in Piscataway for Gilman Ciocia Associates. Then she worked as a teacher for 7 years at Faber School in Dunellen, retiring 23 years ago.
Surviving is her loving husband of 50 years, John, a daughter Shannon Strauss and her companion Santiago of Hillsborough, a son Ryan and his wife Dinice of Easton, Pa., a brother Walter Schnabel of Dublin, NH., and 3 grandchildren Enox, Chloe, and Jayden.
