Paul H. Martin, Jr.

On July 7, 2019, Paul H. Martin, Jr. of Neshanic Station NJ passed away at Hunterdon Medical Center with his loving family by his side.

Paul was born on August 18, 1937 to Paul and Kathryn Martin in Spencer, Iowa. 

He graduated cum laude from Colgate University in 1959 and earned a Juris Doctorate degree (JD) from Seton Hall Law School in 1972.

Paul started his professional career as a Junior Executive Trainee with Bell Telephone Laboratories (BTL), which led to various managerial positions in BTL, Lucent Technologies, and Agere Systems. His job responsibilities included, but were not limited to, serving as the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director of Customer Production Division, BTL, Holmdel, NJ; Administrative Department Head to Branch Laboratories in Atlanta, GA.; and facility manager and lawyer, representing management on the Union Bargaining Team.  He retired in 2001.

Paul was a passionate golfer and played 18 holes of golf 3 times a week up to his unexpected death. He was an avid reader of history.  He enjoyed gardening and traveling to National Parks, Puerto Rico, Mexico and to visit extended family.  

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Grace Geigel Martin, seven cousins, three siblings-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
