Michael R Adams

Michael R. Adams, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on April 27, 2019, after a long illness that he fought for many years. He was deeply loved and appreciated by all who knew him, especially his wife of almost 31 years, whom he always referred to as “Sweetie”.

Michael was employed by Local 156 in New Brunswick for over 25 years. He loved camping, fixing cars, taking long walks with his wife and two children, but mainly his love for his two daughters, Jessica and Amberlee. He was a longtime member of the South Plainfield Elks and an avid fan of the NY Giants.

Michael was predeceased by his father, Richard Adams, his mother Mary (Nievelt), his brother Richard, his brother Kevin and his wife Corinne. He is survived by his wife Judy, his daughter Jessica (Matt Carara), his daughter Amberlee (Jeff McNulty), his only granddaughter Avery Elsie, his sisters Eileen Buccino (Robert), Patty Wilcox(Kevin), Diane Deschaine, Susan Spiridigliozzi (John) brother Scott (Theresa), along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1st from 4:00-7:00pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A funeral service will be held at 4:30pm. All other services are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contibutions can be made to the South Plainfield Elks #2298, 1254 New Market Ave, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
