Luis A Roman, 64, of Piscataway, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick with his loving family by his side. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, he is the son of the late Alejandro and Maria (Santiago) Roman.
Luis worked for many years as a maintenance worker for St. Francis Cabrini Church in Piscataway. He was a 3rd Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. He loved to fish, and play golf. Luis loved to be around friends, and was always making jokes and making people laugh as the life of the party. His greatest joy came from his family. He was a loving husband, father and especially embraced the role of grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Luis is survived by his loving wife Donna (Kennedy) Roman; his mother, Maria Roman; his adoring sons, Luis Jr, Edward and his wife Jenny, and Nicholas. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Isaac, Gabriella, Natasha, and Katlyn. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters; Alex, Nelson, Ibette Gonzalez, Eddie, Sam, Maria Torres and Tito as well as by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 4 from 2:00-4:00pm and from 7:00-9:00pm with a funeral service to be held at 7:30pm during the night viewing. Cremation will be private.
