Laurina "Dolly" Tolomeo

Laurina A. “Dolly” Tolomeo, 93, passed away on Sunday; January 6th, 2019 at Barton House in Louisville, KY. She is the daughter of the late Vito and Celeste Tolomeo.

Dolly was a lifelong resident of Middlesex. She was employed as a secretary and later Manager of Personnel by United Fruit Company in New York City from 1944 to 1991. After her retirement she was a Crossing Guard in Middlesex Boro from 1993 to 2016. Dolly loved gardening and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dolly is predeceased by her sister Betty Guide, her brother Vito Tolomeo Jr, and her sister Sylvia Sobotka. She is survived by her brother Paul Tolomeo of Margate, FL, and many loving nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial visitation on Wednesday, January 16th, from 9-10AM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen. A Memorial Mass will take place at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Mt Virgin church in Middlesex.  Burial of cremains to follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
