Julia Przywara, 85, of Piscataway, passed away peacefully on Monday November 13, 2017 at Brookdale Assisted living Center in Hillsborough after a long illness. Born in Hazelton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Justina (Serko) Semuta.
Julia always had a smile and friendly greeting when checking out customers from the Foodtown Market in Manville where she retired as Produce Manager. She was communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway. Her faith was very important to her especially her prayer group meetings and friends who meant so much to her. She had a great love for her family and a soft spot for animals. We will miss her wit, caring heart and the ability to make new friends wherever life took her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Julia was predeceased by her first husband John Mraz and by her second husband Theodore Przywara in 2008, as well as by her son John Mraz 2013. She is survived by her step-daughter Laura Buck and her husband Joe of Solebury, PA; her cherished grandchildren, Joseph and Isabella. Julia is also survived by her sisters, Eva Derr, Helen Mock and Margaret Semuta and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 17 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A mass will be celebrated on Saturday November 18 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway.
