Joseph M Totorello

Joseph M. Totorello, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Georgeson Hospice Center in Naples, FL with his loving family by his side. Born in Irvington, NJ, he had lived in Piscataway, NJ for 57 years before moving to Marco Island, FL.

Joseph served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. Upon returning home, he married Kathleen Winkelholz. He was the co-owner of Coastal Recap in Middlesex before retiring in 1983. Joseph was a Life Member of the NJ Fireman’s Association, a member of Arbor Hose Volunteer Fire Co., joining in 1953. He was a life member of the Elks in Piscataway for 49 years as well as a member of the Loyal Order of Moose for over 30 years.

Mr. Totorello was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Lucy Digiesi, step mother, Rose Totorello, and by his beloved son John in 2002. He is survived by his loving wife Kathleen of Marco Island, FL, by his beloved daughter Gail Richards and husband Donald of Marco Island, FL, his 5 cherished grandchildren: Michael and Danielle Richards, Tiffany Hands, and Nicole and Christopher Totorello as well as by his adored great-grandchildren, Isabella Richards and William Hands. He is also survived by his 3 sisters and brother; Mary Lou Caprio, Mary Ann Montesano, Jane and Nicholas Jr. Totorello.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 30 at 11:00am at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
