John D Scala

John D Scala, 48, of Piscataway, passed away tragically on Monday April 23, 2018 in Little Falls, NJ. Born in Belleville, NJ, he was the son of John and Patricia (Cooney) Scala.

John was a devoted family man. He was always involved in his kid’s activities. He was a Boy Scout leader and was a member of his children’s PTO. He enjoyed cooking, the History Channel and a good book. He always put everyone else’s needs above his own. The happiest place on earth for John was just being on the sofa, watching a movie with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Lynn. His adored children, Jennifer, and Matthew. He is also survived by his father, John V Scala and his sister, Donna Scala, as well as by his nieces, Danielle and Kayla. He is also survived by an immense amount of cousins, who are too numerous to mention, but whom he loved as if they were his brothers and sisters.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, April 28, from 2:00pm-5:00pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. All other services will be private.
