John J. Csobor, 85, of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Monday; October 15th, 2018 at Care One Nursing Home with his loving family by his side. Born in New Brunswick, he is the son of the late Elizabeth and John Csobor.
John faithfully served our Country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He worked as a Sheet Metal Worker for Local 27 for many years before his retirement in 1992. He loved coaching Little League and Babe Ruth baseball in Piscataway. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
John is pre-deceased by his loving wife Joan (2017), his brother Joseph Csobor, and his son Ronald E. Csobor (1991.) He is survived by his 5 children; Deborah Ann Rozmerski of Glen Gardner, John K. Csobor and wife Joan of Avoca, Minnesota, Joanne Hochhauser of Piscataway, Brenda Malinosky and husband Michael of Piscataway, and Brian Csobor and wife April of South Plainfield, 11 Grandchildren; Hope, Christy, Heather, John, Liz, William, Michelle, Rachel, Tommy, Matthew and Brian, 7 Great-Grandchildren; Anthony, Logan, Chelsea, Hunter, Carter, Lucas, and Payson.
There will be a visitation on Friday; October 19th, from 10-12PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen. A funeral service will take place at 12PM at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Franklin Memorial Park, Franklin.
