Hillsborough - James V. (Petro) Petruzziello, 81, formerly of Piscataway passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018. Born in Union, NJ he was predeceased by his parents, James and Josephine (nee Bono) Petruzziello and grandson, C.J. Koch.
Lt. Petruzziello retired after more than 30 years from the Piscataway Police Dept. He attended the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA; was a 50 year member and Exalted Ruler of the Piscataway Elks; a Life Member of Arbor Fire Hose; and an avid golfer who was a 30 year member of the Rutgers Golf Association who once shot a hole in one.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Deborah Ivey; sons, James and wife Pamela, David and Steven; 8 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and another great grandson on the way. He is also survived by his sisters, Janice Hand and JoAnne Erickson and husband Bobby Ray and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, October 26 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave. in Dunellen. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 27 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Cremation will be held privately.
