Jim was born on March 21, 1936 in Brooklyn New York. He went to Farmingdale College and worked as a chemist for National Can Company in Piscataway, New Jersey. This is when he moved to Dunellen, New Jersey and raised his family.

He especially liked volunteering with the Senior Citizens. Jim was also actively involved with Saint John the Evangelist Church.

Jim loved to travel and was always open to new adventures.  He was an avid golfer and fisherman. It was impossible for him to be around people and not strike up a conversation. His zest for life and love for his friends and family gave him so much joy.
