Gloria A (Nix) Amon

Gloria A Amon, 77, formerly of Piscataway, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Born in Staten Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Canfield) Nix.

Gloria will be remembered for her thoughtfulness and caring heart.  She retired as a nursing assistant. She enjoyed spending time with her family, bowling, pinochle, going to the Sands and watching the Mets. She touched the lives of so many and will be sadly missed.

Gloria is pre-deceased by her husband George SR. in 2014. She is survived by her children Sandra and her husband Anthony, George Jr. and
his wife Pamela, Cynthia and her husband Rocco, 9 grandchildren,17 great grandchildren, brother Tom and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, November 18 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 19 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery in Bound Brook.
