George R. Munzing Sr., 70, a 20 year resident of No. Brunswick, died Mar. 6, 2017 at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick. He was born in Newark to the Late Joseph and Ruth, and had resided in Piscataway previous to No. Brunswick. George worked as a pharmaceutical technician and machinist for many years for Ethicon in Bridgewater before retiring three years ago. He also was an Army veteran serving in the 25th Infantry during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of the VFW in No. Brunswick Post #911 and also a member of the American Legion Post #261 in Piscataway.
Surviving are his two sons, George Jr. and his wife Cris of Piscataway, Jeffrey and his wife Tina of Manalapan, a brother Ricky Pallitto of Maine, and three grandchildren Nate, Victoria and Christopher.
Visiting will be Fri. from 4-9PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen. There will be a 10AM funeral service on Sat. at the funeral home with entombment following at Resurrection Mausoleum in Piscataway.
