Genoveva Olson

Genoveva Vilar Olson, 100, of Barnegat, died Sept. 10, 2017 at Genesis Southern Ocean Center in Manahawkin,  with her loving family by her side. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and had lived in  Barnegat for the past 35 years.  She was the widow of Vincente who died in 1999 and Robert Olson who died in 2010.  She also lost two sons, the Late Jorge Verdura and Ricardo.  Genoveva worked in the electronics department of Granetz Company in Piscataway for several years before her retirement in 1988.

Surviving is her daughter Ana Richter also of Barnegat, six grandchildren, five great granddaughters, two great grandsons, and two great great grandsons.

Visiting will be Wednesday, September 13 from 2:00-4:00 and from 7:00-9:00pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen.  There will be a 10:00 AM funeral service on Thursday, September 14 at the funeral home with interment to follow at Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway.
