Dorothy C (Grady) Maritz

Dorothy C. Maritz (Grady), 87, of Middlesex, passed away peacefully at Watchung Terrace on Tuesday, May 28th, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Born in the Bronx, she is the daughter of the late Laurence Grady and Christina Borkowski.

Dorothy was a resident of Dunellen for many years. She relocated to Florida for over 20 years and then returned back to New Jersey where she resided in Middlesex for the last 3 years. Dorothy worked as a bank teller for many years at Hudson United Bank in Dunellen from which she retired.

Dorothy is predeceased by her beloved husband, Herbert (2007); her brothers Frank Grady and George Grady. She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Fitzgerald and her husband, John of Dunellen; Gail Neary and husband, Richard of North Carolina; and Carol Maritz and wife, Sue Cohen of Narberth, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christina Fitzgerald, Jay Fitzgerald and David Neary. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, May 31st, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave. in Dunellen. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 1st, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. John’s Church in Dunellen, NJ with burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin, NJ.
