Catherine M. Richards, 94, of New Brunswick, died Feb. 7, 2017 , at Parker at Landing Lane in New Brunswick. She was born in Pittston, Pa. and had lived her earlier life in Piscataway, then Highland Park before moving to New Brunswick one year ago. Catherine was an Administrative assistant at Rutgers for 25 years before retiring 32 years ago. She also was a communicant of St. Francis Cabrini Church in Piscataway.
Surviving is a son, Don and his wife Gail of Marco Island, Fl., 2 daughters Diane Ritchie and husband Mark of Bound Brook, Patti Genova of Fairfield, CN., a sister Rose Scavo of Old Forge, Pa., 5 grandchildren, Mark Ritchie, Michael and Danielle Richards, Matt and Chris Genova, and 3 great granddaughters, Cara and Lauren Ritchie and Isabela Richards.
Private funeral arrangements are by the Sheenan Funeral Home, Dunellen.
