Barbara C. Walter

Barbara C. Walter (nee Price) passed away at her home in Sarasota, Florida on Tuesday 15 May 2018.

Barbara was born on 12 July 1954 in Jersey City, NJ to John and Catherine Price. She attended the Rutgers University and the Eagelton Institute of Politics. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 1976. She went on to have a successful career as a probation officer at the Middlesex County Probation Office, and retired in 2003. She married Gavin Walter of Greenbrook, NJ in 1975.They lived in Middlesex, NJ and had two children. Gavin passed away in 2005.

Barbara was a lifelong New York Giants fan, and often traveled with the Giants Road Crew to cheer them on. In 2015, Barbara moved to Sarasota, Florida where she enjoyed going to beach and relaxing with a good book on her patio.

Barbara is survived by her two sons, Christian and Evan, their wives, Kelly and Aubrey, and two grand-children, Michael and David.

A memorial service will be held at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen at 11-1pm on Saturday 26 May 2018.
