Alfonso Esposito Jr

Alfonso Esposito Jr., 58, of Middlesex, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 25th, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.  Born in Plainfield to the late Marlene and Alfonso Esposito, Alfonso has been a resident of Middlesex for the last 21 years.

Alfonso was a devoted father, with an infectious sense of humor and a heart of gold.  He worked as a baker for many years, was an avid gardener and a fantastic cook.  He loved working on his '69 Camaro with his sons, and enjoyed going to NHRA Drag Racing events as well as classic car shows. He also loved fishing, but most of all adored taking multiple trips to Disney every year with his loved ones.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Alfonso is predeceased by his parents Marlene (Patridge) and Alfonso Esposito. He is survived by four loving sons; Alfonso and wife Karen of Middlesex, Tony and Leana of Toronto, Daniel and Heidi of Middlesex, and Michael of Middlesex; and daughter, Lisa Marie and husband Babacar Faye of Middlesex, Grandchildren; Ainsley, Alfonso, Daniel, Alexa, Fatima, Isaac, and Nicholas, Brother; John Esposito of Whitehouse, Girlfriend, Mary Wells of Middlesex, dear friend, Benjamin Koch of PA and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and uncles.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, December 29th, 2016 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen, NJ.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 30th at 11AM at the funeral home.  Cremation will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Alfonso’s name to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900.Arlington, VA 22202.
