Thomas J Kane

Thomas J Kane, 58, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at his home in Piscataway. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of Thomas and Patricia (Doyle) Kane.

Tom received a Bachelor’s Degree from Dominican College. He worked for many years as a software engineer for Trade Manage Corp in Saddle Brook, NJ. He liked to build things, whether it was a greenhouse or a canoe. He also loved working on cars. Tom loved to shoot pool, play hockey, and was recently trying his hand at home brewing. His greatest joy came from going camping with his family. Tom left this world much too soon, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Besides his father, Tom was predeceased by his sister, Kathleen Kane and by his brother in law Frank Kosch. He is survived  by his loving wife Kelly (Lord), his beloved children; son Gregory Kane and fiancé Dana of Rockaway, NJ, his daughter Jamie Kane of Rockaway, NJ, daughter Kacey Perinelli and husband Michael of North Plainfield, son Kieran Hunt of South Amboy, and daughter Tara Moran and husband Kevin of Roselle Park, NJ. He is also survived by his mother, Patricia Elkin of The Villages, FL, his brother Edward Kane of Hackensack, his sister Mary Kosch of GA; his cherished grandson Dominic LaGalante and his niece Elizabeth Kosch.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 and from 7:00-9:00 at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. All other services are private.
