To the family and friends of Sally Sterling
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have taken comfort knowing that God . . . will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.”—Revelation 21:3, 4
The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. As we have previously noted, the Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. ‘But surely that is wishful thinking!’ some may say words of encouragement please go to JW.org for words of encouragement
Sincerely,
Roberta of the Dunellen Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses

We are both so saddened to lose our Sally after such a long battle with lupus. You were such a favorite of ours, and the many good times we had together from Virginia to Mississippi to New Jersey will always be a special memory for us. Sally never forgot her friends and her concern for Pat after his accident in 1991 was so typical of her devotion to friends. You will be missed dear friend.

Sally, you always had a smile it seemed and 50 years could never dim that beautiful expression. You were always there to help people, and your life choice of a profession reflected that. The most wonderful legacy anyone can leave is that they left a place, or person better off than they were after meeting that person ... and that's exactly what you did! Rest among the angels, Sally.

Sally was a special light in the world. Her smile and warmth brought so much joy to all who knew her. I will never forget the summer blackout we spent together and what a hostess she was until the lights returned. We laughed the night away and just bonded. I'm so blessed to have known you and will always remember your light.

I'll never forget the ever present smile and laugh in her voice. I can still see her in my memory in her blue plaid skirt walking the halls of DHS. She will always remain my sweet friend Sally.

My condolences to the Sterling family. Sally was a friend in school and a number of times we were competing for the same things. Each time it seems, they ended up choosing both of us and we would share the roles. It was always an honor and I felt better about myself that I was almost as good as Sally. She had a smile that made everyone feel better and a love of life. While we morn her loss, she is finally at peace and free of the bonds that held her in this world. May she Rest In Peace.

Charlotte and I remember Sally, with affection, for her wit and humor. We remember the wonderful time spent with the Sterling’s at the “Chappel’s Fishing Camp” when Sally and Guy attempted to empty Beaver Lake of all fish.
With sadness we cherish our fond memories of Sally who always made everyone’s day better with her positive attitude. May she rest in peace.

How could you not love her wit, humor and so many talents. I cherish the time with her and memories of the friendship. She was so loving of her friends but so much of her family. I will listen to her music and remember. And thank you Guy for being her solid support... Irene Maksymiw

It is hard to find the words to write about the loss of a true lifelong friend. We always bragged about how long we had been friends which now would be 64 years since meeting in Lincoln School for Kindergarten. Sally upheld the friendship by being supportive, loving, and trusting. She was such a dedicated professional, talented musician, and mighty amateur athlete despite her petite frame. Sally was courageous for over 40 years battling yet never wanting to give in to Lupus. So many memories - so many years. You will be missed but must be singing with the angels now.
