Ronald L King

Ronald L King, 76, of Piscataway, passed away tragically on Wednesday June 14, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick with his loving family by his side. Born in Irvington, he was the son of the late Leslie and Ruth (Babst) King.

Ronald served his country honorably in the Unites States Army. It was there that he began to work with computers, and became a computer engineer, retiring from Verizon after many years. Ronald loved building things, especially woodworking. He has very handy, and was always the one you called when you needed help around the house. He enjoyed playing golf, and being around animals. More than anything however, Ronald loved spending time with his family. In later years, that love was passed to his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife Susan; his daughters: Tracey King-Rumelhart and husband Jeremy of Bethelhem, PA; Jodie King and husband Bryan Chabra of Piscataway. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Jayden and Chloe Rumelhart; his sister Patricia Knapp and husband Donald Edward, his brother John Fashtak and wife Diane as well as by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday June 21, 2017 from 11:30am-12:30pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ronald's name to the ASPCA at ASPCA.org/donate
