Robert J. Fallon

Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on February 14th, 1934

Departed on September 1st, 2016 and resided in Piscataway, New Jersey

Robert was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ before moving to Piscataway in 1966.  He was employed as a Service Technician for the Elizabethtown Gas Company for nearly 30 years, retiring in 1991.  He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving during the Korean Conflict and earning a Certificate for Good Conduct.  Robert was a proud member of the Ancient Order of the Hibernians, Saint Patrick Division 1.  He was an avid promoter of all things Irish, including food, music and culture.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are his daughter, Mary Fallon of Jackson NJ and her husband Michael Gonzalez, his four grandchildren, Vincent M. Gonzalez, Nicholas A. Gonzalez, Christopher J. Gonzalez and Nicolette F. Gonzalez along with his two sons, Robert J. Fallon of California and Michael T. Fallon of Piscataway NJ, his sister Alice M. Correia of Manville NJ and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert was predeceased by his loving wife Esther, March 2nd 1991, his brother Joseph V. Fallon of Manville NJ, January 8th 2016, and his brother John F. Fallon of Elizabeth NJ, November 21st 2005.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 6th, 2016 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen, NJ 08812.  A mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, September 7th 2016 at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway.  Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
