Paul Jerzak, a twenty eight year veteran of the Piscataway Police Force, died July 3, 2017 at Bridgeway Care Center in Hillsborough. He was 81, born in Piscataway, and was also a lifelong resident of Piscataway where he served as a Police Officer from 1960 and retiring in 1988 as Deputy Chief for the Piscataway Police Department. He was a graduate of the FBI National Academy. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Paul was the husband for over 50 years to the Late Dorothy who died in 2015. He was also predeceased by his brother Henry. He served honorably in the US Army during peacetime and was also a member of the Retired Police Local 9 in Middlesex County. Paul also belonged to the No. Plainfield Traveling Seniors and was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway.
Surviving are 2 sons, Glen and his wife Alexa of Manville, Wayne and his wife Patty of Chelmsford, Mass., a sister Irene Bielawski of California, 4 grandchildren , Glen Paul, and Anthony Jerzak, Alexa Abromaitis and Heather Salvato, and 4 great grandchildren
