Owen Barton Jr aka Toddlah, 44, of Dunellen passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 22nd.  Born in Brooklyn, NY to Donna Maye and Owen Barton Sr., Toddlah has lived in Dunellen for the last 15 years.

Toddlah was a certified nurse, and spent the last few years working for Cintas.  He wore many hats in life, and was a lover of many things.  He enjoyed building and planting. Owen associated himself with the Rastafarian Culture, hence his love for vegetation. He loved speaking and engaging with everyone, always putting a smile on people’s faces.  Toddlah loved to listen to music, and loved to joke around. If you knew Toddlah, you knew he would never be on time.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Toddlah is predeceased by his grandparents;  Lucile Lingard, Harold Barton, and Lillian Maye, he is survived by his parents, Donna Maye of Dunellen and Owen Barton, Sr of Florida, spouse, Sharon of Bridgewater, 3 children; Adrienne, Noah, and Nakhi, siblings; Tweddy, Terri, Tami, Keith, Trev and Tiffany, his beloved best friend dog Zigler, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday; November 29th from 4-8PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen. Immediately following the vistation, a repast will be held at 560 South Ave., Dunellen, NJ 08812. All are welcome.
