May “Mikki” Weniger, 91, of Lakewood, died June 14, 2016 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. She was born in Plainfield and lived in Green Brook before moving to Lakewood 11 years ago. May’s husband John died in 1985 and she also was predeceased by a grandson, the Late Jason Weniger in 2011. May was a homemaker and a great mother to her children and family. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Green Brook Senior Citizens. She also was a founder of the Green Brook Little League Auxillary. She will be sadly missed by all.
Surviving are 3 sons, John and his wife Janet of Middlesex, Thomas of Las Vegas, Timothy and his wife Laurie of Toms River, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visiting will be Friday, June 17 from 2:00-4:00 PM and from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen. There will be an 8PM funeral service at the funeral home also on Friday June 17. Cremation will be private.
