Mary Everett Baker born May 10, 1916 to the late James F. and Bessie Downs Everett of Sudlersville, Maryland passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 with her loving family by her side.
Mary was a generous, kind and loving person who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A 1937 graduate of Drexel University, she taught Home Economics for twenty six years, retiring in 1976 from the Green Brook School system after seventeen years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty three years M. Gordon Baker in 1996 and sisters Katherine Adkins and Charlotte Robinson and nephew David Robinson.
Surviving to cherish her memory are loving daughters Murry Blakely (William) and Barbara Sheenan (Patrick) grandchildren Glen Stegemann (Kathy), Melanie Blakely (Sarah), Kristen Ogilvie (Steve) and Rachel Levens (Brian), great grandchildren Matthew Mirlocca, Nash and Spencer Stegemann, Ava Levens, Lucas Blakely, Ashley Ogilvie.
She will missed by nephews Alan Robinson Jr. (Sandy) and Charles Adkins, niece Charles Ryan (Thomas),great nieces Kimberly O’Malley and Tanya Shelton and grandniece Brooke Shelton.
Viewing will be on Saturday, March 4th from 2 to 5PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Avenue, Dunellen, NJ. Interment will be private.
