Martin J. McHale, 82, of Piscataway passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19th at his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Patrick and Delia (Beisty) McHale.
He graduated from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with a Bachleor’s Degree. Martin proudly served our Country in the U.S. Army from 1954-1960. He was a sales rep. for many years and retired from Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Martin was a parishoner at Our Lady of Fatima Church where he taught CCD (Holy Innocents) and Pre-Cana. He was a lover of all Philadelphia sports teams, and most importantly he was a very proud Father and family man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Surviving is his loving wife of 48 years Kelly (Patricia), 3 daughters; Alicia McHale and husband Nelson Schlater of San Francisco, CA, Aimee McHale of Washington, DC, and Rachel Kaiser and husband David of Conschochen, PA; 3 Grandchildren; Viviann, David and Keegan; and 4 Siblings, sister, Marie Kelly, and brothers; James McHale, Bro. William McHale and Francis McHale.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 23rd from 3-7PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen, NJ 08812. A funeral mass will start at 11AM on Wednesday, January 24th at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway. Military Honors will follow outside of church. Cremation is private.
