Margaret D (Dietzel) Gossett

Margaret D Gossett, 89, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Dietzel.

Margaret worked for many years as a secretary for National Newark and Essex Bank in Newark. She was an avid reader and loved being around her son Raymond, Jr’s cats. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband, Raymond, Sr in 1977. She is survived by her beloved son, Raymond, Jr and his wife Eileen of Piscataway, as well as by many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5 from 2:00-4:00pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 8 at 10:30am. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude's Mausoleum in Colonia.
