Luz M. Santos, 94, of Piscataway, died peacefully at home on Dec. 27, 2016, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Cuba and had lived in New York City where she worked in fashion design for 20 years for the McQueen Co. before her retirement many years ago. She has since been a resident of Piscataway since 1984. Her husband Pedro died in 1998.
Surviving are two daughters, Mercedes Rodriguez, with whom she lived, Josefina Alonso & her husband Manuel, a sister Julia Sing of Florida, 2 grandchildren Julia & Jose M. Alonso, and 5 great grandchildren Sofia, Alana, David, Aiden, and Briel.
Visiting will be Wed. 4-9PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen. There will be a 9:30AM funeral service on Thurs. at the funeral home. Entombment Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway.
