George Faturos

George S. Faturos, 64, of Piscataway passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday; August 31st, 2016.  Born in Plainfield he was the son to the late Winifred Martin and Stephen Faturos.

George worked for the Edison Post Office for over 25 years before his retirement.  He was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway.  George loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hiking and fishing and he loved rooting for his favorite football team the New York Giants.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving is his sister, Diane Faturos of West Hampton, brother, John Faturos and wife Donna of Andover, VT, and 3 nephews; Joseph, Joshua, and Benjamin.

There will be a visitation on Monday; September 5th, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday; September 6th, 2016 at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway.  Burial to follow at Lake Nelson Memorial Park in Piscataway.
