Frances P (Gerickont) Lauria

Frances P. Lauria (nee Gerickont), of Branchburg passed away peacefully on Monday; February 13th, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville. She was 88.  Born in New Brunswick  to the late Joseph and Sophie Gerickont, Frances was a lifelong resident of Piscataway before moving to Branchburg 4 years ago.

Frances grew up on the Gerickont Dairy Farm in Piscataway where she developed her love for animals. She worked for NAPA for many years before her retirement over 20 years ago.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband Fred, she is survived by her 2 daughters; Diane Chiocchi and her husband Perry of Branchburg, and Darlene Lauria of Piscataway, Granddaughter, Alissa Chiocchi of Branchburg, 2 Brothers; Joseph Gerickont of South Hampton and George Gerickont of South Hampton.

There will be a visitation on Thursday; February 16th from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen.  There will be a funeral service on Friday; February 17th at 11AM at the funeral home.  Burial to follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
